Language Policy

In effect from: January 1, 2027

Arta Medica, published by the "Nicolae Anestiadi" Association of Surgeons of the Republic of Moldova, is transitioning to English-only publication as part of its international development strategy.

1. New manuscripts (from January 1, 2027)
All manuscripts submitted for publication from January 1, 2027 onward must be written entirely in English, including the title, abstract, keywords, full text, tables, figures, and references.

2. Manuscripts under review at the time of transition
Manuscripts submitted before January 1, 2027 and currently undergoing peer review will be evaluated and published in their original submission language (Romanian or Russian), following the journal's previous practice.

3. Journal archive
Issues published between 2002 and 2026 remain available in their original form (Romanian/Russian) and will not be retroactively translated or modified.

4. Support for authors
Authors who face difficulties preparing their manuscript in English are encouraged to consult professional translation or language-editing services before submission. The editorial office does not provide translation services.

5. Reviewers
Members of the review board must be able to evaluate manuscripts written entirely in English.
