Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify the current position of occupational health, chemical safety and toxicology in the current context of the development of the Republic of Moldova and to draw medium and long-term objectives. A review of the advancements in the fields of occupational health, chemical safety, and toxicological research and practice in the Republic of Moldova was conducted. Bibliographic references on the relevant subject, along with data from worldwide and national open access databases, served as the sources of information. The strategic directions for activities in the fields of toxicology, chemical safety, and occupational health were laid forth. The development of the national network of workplaces that promote health, with the implementation of good international practices, is imperative of the time.
