About the Journal

   Arta Medica (AM) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal and represents the official publication of the “Nicolae Anestiadi” Association of Surgeons of the Republic of Moldova.
   The journal is primarily dedicated to surgical specialties, but also covers a broad range of topics in clinical medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, social medicine, and public health.
   Founded in 2002 by PP “Arta Medica”, the journal has evolved into an interdisciplinary platform for the dissemination of medical knowledge and professional experience.
   In addition to biomedical research, Arta Medica welcomes contributions addressing the ethical, educational, psychological, and social aspects of medical practice, as well as studies on medical history and health policy.
   At present, Arta Medica publishes independently submitted original research and review articles, clinical studies and case reports, lectures, brief reports, correspondence, official documents, and editorials in the fields of medicine and health sciences.
   Arta Medica is a fully open-access journal, providing immediate and unrestricted online access to all published content under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.
   The printed version of the journal is distributed free of charge to members of the “Nicolae Anestiadi” Association of Surgeons of the Republic of Moldova.
